Straighten handlebars

Default Straighten handlebars
When I picked up my used 2008, I noticed the handlebars were not perfectly straight. Some long time Harley riders looked at me and asked what was wrong? When I explained they laughed and said to just get used to it. If I wanted to straighten them, how is it done? Or am I wasting time?

Default NEVER Straighten!
If they are BENT - CHANGE them! NEVER bend, unbend bars, tubes, etc. If they need ADJUSTING that's another story!

Thet are NOT bent, just out og alignment by a few degrees.

Loosen the risers and set to desired position... tighten risers

*** question here. But but would that only allow for rotation within the riser cradle?

you would be able to slide them left or right if needed as well

Your bike has been dumped, buy new bars.

grab a buddy for an extra set of hands. Have him hold the bars as you loosen the risers.. set to desired position, tighten the risers back down.

Thanks for the replies. I do not believe the bike was dropped, buti can't rule that out. From all angles the bars are symmetrical. I will post a pic to show.
