Take the cheap way out put your stock pipes back on and get a set of cycle shack slip ons. These slip ons are a sleeper the performance with them is better than any one would imagine. Less than $200 dollars that's what I have on mine with this built engine and its performance is unbelievable. Runs like a bear no hesitation or popping just gets up and goes

Tuck your pant leg in your sock. Make a leggin to go around your pants. Velcro the seem on the outside to make it easy on and off.You used to be able to buy them ,but I dont know who makes them anymore. Army-navy store? They keep your pants clean and from blowing around. As far as pipes, keep looking. A lot of people change pipes often and there are good deals to be had on e-bay and other places. Just my .02 of loose change. Good luck.

That is an awesome idea, with the coating then the heat shields chances are I wont be burning my pants. Sadly these pipes are done, they need to be replaced. So get to start from scratch. Maybe fishtails or a 2 into 1, if thats the case.
Fishtails would look cool on your bike. Just my .02
