Bobber, it might be because the spokes were a little loose. I dont know. I tightened the spokes, well see how it wears now.

Might sound like a daft question but how do you tighten the spokes, do you have to take the tyre off? or can you just do it in situ?

I put the bike on the jack to get the front wheel off the ground and then turn the nipples 1/8-1/4 turn tightening one at a time. Then if they are still loose go another 1/8-1/4 turn. Mine were a little over 1/8 of a turn loose. You dont want to go to far or the wheel will get out of round. They make a torque wrench for this but this is how we have always done our moto cross bikes. No problems.

How about some info on the whitewall for the rest of us. Do I have to be a member of the club? Did you get in trouble?

Not trying to be rude but what's up with all the top secret stuff. Does the person that did the Metzler for you not want everyone flooding them with requests or do you think you might be stepping on someones toes that has a stack pile of Vee's to get ride of? We are all here to share info. Especially on good deals. I look at it like this. If I magically start getting free parts in the mail or at least at cost to bolt onto my bike then I start watching out for others feelings.
