It's getting colder in the mornings & I've got this rush of air coming up below the windshield around the front of the tank. I'd like some kind of lower wind deflector but want something that removes easily and that rules out the Harley deflector. I wanted to know if anyone here had tried anything with success.
Nothing out there as far as quick release.
Nothing out there as nice as the HD Chrome. And for 60-70 dollars there a steal.
I use them for the cold season.

Also highway bars with the leather bra may help!
what he said, work great for cold weather, dont use them when its above 80 tho, motor runs too hot,
I'm another one that uses them in the colder months only.
As far as quick release, I can have mine on or off in 5-10 minutes (sometimes everything lines up the first try and some times they don't! [&:]). Not quite "quick" release but, not too bad, either.
When I put my auxillary lamps & windshield on, the light bar was jamb tight to the headlamp nacelle which made it close to impossible to get the bolts in. I don't relish the idea of taking them out again, much less doing it often. Maybe I could notch out the bolt holes in the deflector so it could be taken off & put on without completely removing the bolts.
I had to open the holes slightly on the lowers.
If not the lowers hit the turn signals.
You would think HD would get the hole alignment correct.
Other than that they work, eliminates buffeting with full face helmet.
