Evo powered Heritage.

I've been helping my buddy look for a used Harley. With the riding he dose, the Heritage is perfect. We found a 1997 with 8000 miles on it in mint condition. The guy wants $7000. Just looking for some opinions on this. The price is perfect for him cause he'e getting $6000 for a 2010 suzuki he has. Whats your take on a 8000 mile EVO.

Great price. Nothing wrong with an 8K mile EVO.. He'll get 80K out of it

Just bought this 95 softail custom last weekend for $6,500. Don't know how many miles are on it unfortunately, because someone put a new speedo on it & didn't put the mileage back on it, so it's only got 1,800 miles on it, LOL. I could care less though, cause it's a bad *** bike.

sounds like a killer deal...EVOs are the best! I have a buddy with one and all He has done is a cam and the thing just flys!

do a cam bearing upgrade, then lifters at 40,000 thats all i can think of! should get 100,000 out of it or near that!

Ive seen Evo's go 150 and never had a wrench laid on them.. If not beaten hard that should be not out of range.

Don't call it the bullet proof bottom for nothing..

It will need cams to make her keep up with the TC's. plus do put in The Torrington for sure on that motor.

With only 8k she really don't even need new lifters.
But it may be money well spent if U do..
