I'm waiting to see how you do. A domed end oil tank caught my eye a while back. I figured it would be on my 'winter list'. I think of would look killer on my fatboy with the spring seat & some apes. Please keep us updated...thanks!
Other than making some 1" spacers for my tank from MotoX, mine bolted right in. Probably my fault as I didn't tell Fausto it was fool injected.....
Looks good and can't wait to see the finished project!
they got your bike on their site, before current mods.
... you need to send them some updated pics... lol.
btw... love your bike.
Tank painted ready to go, any tips on removal of the OEM tank???
I put the same type oil bag on my fatboy. Removal of old tank is very straight forward. I followed the manual and it was a piece of cake. What are you doing for oil lines?

The tank is built to allow the use of the OEM fuel lines....(I hope!!)
Can't wait to see it installed, I have never liked the stock tank.
I guess I'm getting too old or something, but the stock cast aluminum tank just doesn't look right to me.

Gotcha. The one I used required different oil lines. If that turns out to be the case with yours as well, Paul Yaffe makes some nice fittings that allow you to run braided or rubber lines into your motor. They aren't cheap though. http://www.paulyaffeoriginals.com/py...llineadapt.htm
