I have a 260-40-18 and a 120-70-21 up front, I spent a whole lot of money for this conversion. The Heartland kit cost me 3750 and the rims were another almost 4K plus about 500 for the tires. Plus the powder coating and the trans socket I had to get. Good thing I do body work so I wont have to pay to get the fender straightened out and painted. But its only money ill forget all about it once that tire is on there haha.
Jay
You're nuts...Very uncomfortable tire. Can bounce you right out of your seat.

really how so? what to say a regular tire not as wide could do the same?
what proof do you have? i think he will be fine only if he gets the air ride though
LOL
I dont know about the whole avon 250 vs metzeler 260 vs dunlop 240 deal but I ride a 200 metzeler on my chopper and I love its great in the turns and it rides smooth. The tread wear is pretty good too, never cared for the avon or dunlop the dunlop on my bike now doesent feel as good it turns as the metzeler but there two different bikes and sizes so it could be that too. All I have to say is mines is a 260 so on paper my tire is bigger than that 250 haha. Ill try measure out the tread of the avon and the metzeler and see what the real deal is. Oh ya Moondognyc I am nuts but I dont think that 260 is gonna handle bad why would it be any different than any other tire out there? And im on progressive 422's right now if it looks terrible then im gonna have to get me a shotgun shock.
haha I know Mark im starting to notice no one wants to ride with me anymore I dont know why... haha but really, I cant wait to ride it with the new tires hopefully I wont have to be riding alone
I hate you Jay... lmao Can't wait to see it all done brah... It's gonna look sick!!!
What a d!ck...we can't all have 23's...LOL
You know when thats done you gotta call me and Mark up, we can cruise and I guarantee we be turning some heads
