Default Removing Crossbones pinstriping help..
I was wondering if there is an easy way to get rid of all the pinstriping that is on the Crossbones, or do you have to take tank/fenders off and have them all sanded and repainted? Any help is appreciated!!

If they clearcoated over the stripes, you're screwed and it will require sanding and repainting. If they didn't, heat them up with a hair dryer and peel them off. Do NOT use a heat gun unless you want to melt your paint. You should be able to tell by running your fingernail over them.

I think I remember reading that they are clearcoated over.

Yup, even the denim bikes are under the paint. Need to have the tins repainted if you want the pinstripe gone.

I've got the denim black too. Those stripes aren't coming off.
