I LOVE IT! I cant decide if I should get a Fat Boy and put a bobtail fender on the back, or get a softail night train/custom/standard and put a fat front wheel on it. There's pros and cons for both. Love your bike though!

Thanks! I was in the same boat and ran into a deal I couldnt pass up on the Train. I didnt like the handling of the 21 fr wheel, so I put the 130 on the front and I think I got the best of both worlds. Not quite a Fat Boy or a Train, kinda got its own look. Handles great now.
I am still stock on the cables at this time. I did order 06 wide glide cables for the new bars that are forth coming. Also the RSD Shortstacks came in today, I didnt think they were going to look good, so I sent them back and ordered the RSD glide bars that are meant for Road Kings and the touring bikes. The short stacks were way to narrow for all the fat-ness I got going on.
Damn. I was a bit worried about that too, and I'm runnin a 150 up front. Still might give it a shot though. Maybe go for a 10" ape in the same style. hmmmmmm......or maybe a nice clean Exile setup......damn it! I need more bikes! LOL
What type of front wheel did you use and were you able to use stock spacers or did have to make custom ones?
I used the six spoke wheel out of the Harley parts catalog. I had a custom shop set it all up, they did use a couple new spacers I believe. Said it was real smooth though.
Jesse James front fender looks awesome.....how much did that set you back? I have the 16 on my night train rode to Sturgis and back and loved it!!!! Only thing I would change is dual discs in the front. I had one panic stop and she pulled hard to the left. Anyway I am going to upgrade the front wheel to the 17inch. Do you think that fender will still fit???

Its the Jesse James Steeler fender. Got it for $107 on eBay. Had the Indy shop paint and mount it. had about $500 labor in the whole deal, that included painting, mounting and fitting the fender, puttin on the new lowers, fitting the wheel and mounting it, and mounting two new tires. Not too bad. They did a real good job. JJ fender should fit a 17 no prob.
and you ar right, if only it was easy to fix the brake issue!
