top speed
125mph few days ago, straight road, no traffic, early evening, two up. previously 115 solo. found out at 125 the headlight burnsout due to vibration. won't be doing that again, since the bulb is an obsolete number now.

Last July I was headin out the I-15 on my was to Ft. Irwin. Got her up to 120 plus or minus a bit without any issues. The bike had no issues and I think it would have kept going for a bit if I had not let off. This was on a straight strech with nobody on it but me and could see for miles. And yes for now she is all stock.
Topic brings me back to my rice rocket days. God I miss those bikes but untill I'm out of NYC I promised myself I would not get another one hence one of my original reasons to finally get a custom than that led me to some Harleys. I had my Fatboy up around 95 on the GSP in NJ . My Deluxe hates it above 70 right now with the skinny tire and the bags. My custom has a 124 worked that loves the highway more than the street and feels fine around 80 but I don't usually push it .
The fastest I have been on a Harley is my friends worked street glide. Fastest Harley I have ever been on. We unloaded 100 miles out of Myrtle Beach this year and he tell's me give her a spin to break her in after some more engine work he did. Before I even realized it i'm doing 110 and it feels like 55 . It's a seven speed lets just say I had no chance of seeing that gear . Only problem is its tough to ride around in traffic and you have to pick your gears right . Fun bike though .

I know what you mean. I used a 2010 6speed Road King while my '02 was in the shop, and it was too smooth & too fast. I love just cruisin' to the deep, fat sound of my pipes.
