71 mph. Just did it the other day. Harley says max is 80 with 2 up and 90 solo. Like Sarg above I'm too much of a fan of life in one piece. But I guess if you want to go, no reason not to go scraped up by a shovel in a 5 gal bucket. Sort of green that way

Not long after I installed 510G cams, I took the bike out on the interstate and pegged out the speedo. 120+ is way faster than I want to go on a bike.

Once in a while I jump on my Fatboy if I'm passing someone..........just under 90mph is about as fast as I've had it. With the batwing on it the speed doesn't really bother me.........but I'm with Sgt Jim I'm a big fan of being alive. It's hard enough to control your bike at that speed but others on the road with you that you can't control, that's what bothers me.

I run 80-85 on the highway on the way to work, have run up to about 90 a few times, but I am too old and too tired to care if I am late. (I don't think this beat up heart could take many more adrenalin rushes)

Just did a big Yellowstone trip, had a GPS, and somewhere I hit a top speed of 85 mph, probably passing somewhere. I think top speed would depend on how much weight and wind resistance your bike had. (Bags, windshield, rider size, etc.) It would be easier to figure if you had a tach. Say, if 60 mph was one half a dial from the redline, then it would be 120. The only place you might ever see top speed would be on a dyno. Even in lab conditions, rear tire circumference would be a factor. I don't think I'll be seeing 85 again for awhile, or at least until I get a new front tire. By the way, I don't have a tach, and have no idea what the redline is, or it the computer would even allow the engine to rev beyond redline.

I can't imagine going that fast on my fatboy, at 85 mph pass a vehicle and you never know how the wind is going to hit you and push you around, I can't imagine at 120+.

I've had the train up to 100 or so on the street but the top speed on the dyno was 167. Don't think I will be going that fast on the street thou. (And yes I have the dyno sheet to prove it.)

I've done 95 mph on my Fatboy on the interstate. I have a windshield and didn't even realize I was going that fast. But I didn't feel like i was losing control or anything. I do 70-75 normally where the speed limit allows.

I've been much faster on other cruisers. I used to go on an annual charity run that ended at an oval race track and they would let the participants do 3 laps around the track if we wanted. I'd love to do it on my Fatboy, but the track came under new ownership and they don't want us there anymore.

85 on my XBones. It was a mistake. As soon as I saw how fast I was going, I dropped it down to 75. That 6th gear makes it too easy to go fast!

I bought the Deluxe to slow down, so I wouldn't know what it would be capable of, I've had it up to just below 100, but like i said I got it to slow down I've had most of the Jap stuff, and great it is too, Fastest I've had showing is 190, gives a great rush, but always ends in tears, my last bike, a Triumph Speed Triple would go through the box on the back wheel, absolutely loved it, do I miss it? yes, would I go back? NO.
I ride this thing and get to smell the flowers and take in the scenery.
