Default Missing models are still available overseas

Maybe I'm a little slow or just never really thought about it very much, but I had no idea that models discontinued in the U.S. were still available overseas. What brought this to my attention was the 2012 HD color sample folder I saw at a base HD office today. I was checking out the 2012 colors in the sun and noticed that it gave the models on which these colors were available. I was looking through them when I noticed that the FXST was listed but only available as a overseas export. I then got on the HD website and found that the Softail Standard along with the Crossbones was listed on both the Japan and Korea websites. I didn't check any others, but I found it interesting that HD continues to sell them. I guess the overseas market for them is still good, so if they plan on bringing them back to the U.S. it's not a big deal because they're still making them.

I don't think that's the case. The Japan and Korean websites list 2011 bikes and there are Softail Standards on there. It's offered in yellow and I don't recall it being offered in that color in the U.S., seems like it was mostly black, silver, red and blue.
