Yeah, makes me wish I went with the 18 on the rear also. I dont know if any changes were made from a 06 to 09, but I was told a 150 x 18 wouldnt work on my 06 deluxe. But if it worked on Toms 09 deluxe it shouldve worked on mine.
Thanks Fellas. The 18 was kind of a gamble but worked out well on my 10.Not sure of any changes to the rear fender for other years. It is a tight squeeze. But I have put a couple hundred miles on it so far. With all different ride heights with the shot gun and no problems.I will try to get some better pics. The pearl (sparkle) in the spokes is off the chain. But doesn't really come out in the pics.
Drew: Thanks for posting pics. And the great service and products. Its been kind of a busy weekend for me.
Country: Thanks for the very generous comments.Still a small fish in a big pond brotha. My sled lacks that BAD AZZ look that you and others have. But am very happy with the way it came out.
Santo: Thanks man ! Next on the list replenish funds !! lol.Just some small stuff over the winter.Want to chrome my Samson exhaust brackets,Flush mount fuel caps, the shortee upper belt guard(to show off the pulley more).Got some art work planned for the AC cover.Longer term stuff tank shift and foot clutch maybe.New bars with all internal wiring and cables.Green grass courtesy of Scotts 4 step program and hurricane Irene.
Truckin: I can not say enough about these Diamond Back Tires so far.Tab is a pleasure to deal with and his product is OUTSTANDING.Buy far the easiest WW I have ever cleaned. You may pay a bit more. But in this case WELL worth it.You truly get what you pay for.In both service and quality.
Bfleischer: Brad, didn't want to bother you on your vacation.Hope you had a great time brotha.
My spokes have some flake in them as well that never shows up in the pics. I avhe tried in teh sun, artifical light, whatever and ahve been unable to show how they really look in pics. Candy red. I'd imagine your rims are a bit more flaky (pardon the reference) and I really want to see them in person. Wish I could plan a trip to the east coast.
Regardless, that is one super slick OG gangster sled.
