quick baffle question

Default quick baffle question

hey guys will removing my baffle from my 2into1 pipe,its on a 09 fat boy with a direct link race tuner and rsd air cleaner and had it dynoed,will it change anything,like run lean or rich,cuz now it runs perfect just what to pull the baffle out cuz i like it loud much better.or can i drill more holes in baffle or something.

nobody knows,well i guess thought somebody would at least have one answer,i guess my question is not stupid enough for this form,i guess i should have asked how old were ya when you first picked your nose while riding your harley.lol

It's your bike, you can do anything you want to it. I would have suggested doing that before spending the money on the dyno tune though. You do understand the tune is for the complete package, don't ya?

First, you gave 12 hours before a response assuming that someone is constantly sitting here ready to answer your question, so don't be rude.

Secondly, the above poster is correct.. the baffle should have been removed before getting the dyno tune.. removing the baffle is going to free up your exhaust, releasing the backpressure that it is producing, which in turn is going to cause the bike to probably run more lean. You may actually lose a minute amount of HP and TQ, but probably nothing noticable. It's your baffle, you can drill holes in it if you'd like to try to meet it half way, but either way, it's going to change your bike just a bit.

Third, many people have asked the same question before and have gotten the same or a similar response, there is a search feature on these forums for that purpose, as well as www.google.com , before ridiculing members on this forum, maybe you should try those.
