Very new to bikes. Have an 08 Rocker C. I'd like to know if anyone has the specs for the stock bars(so I have something to go off of for getting a better bar for my lanky arms)
And also need to know what I need to look at when i go to buy a springer front end. Is there a particular size I need for the neck? Or are all necks the same size? ANy help is greatly appreciated.
The stock bars are two piece and with the angled riser/clamp, you're looking a custom fab shop to make bars to use the stock risers.
The risers are typical 3.5 inch center to center, so replace the risers with a more conventional riser to allow almost any bar made to fit.
HD makes a shorter drag bar for the Rocker.
I don't think anyone has gone with a springer frontend on a Rocker because it's narrow enough the hit the stock fuel tank.
HD also makes a set of apes that fit the rocker also. They are in the HD parts catalog. I have an 08 rocker also and LOVE the bike, BUT be careful, I have had 2 sets of rear bearings fail, first set after 6500 miles and the second set after 7000 miles. The second at 60 MPH on a corner/scary/$1200.00 damage...The ones they put in at HD are from China. Timken and ALL ***** make high quality bearings for less than $30.00 for all 4. A bunch of Rocker owners have had the same issue/I would not take a chance. Ride safe.
