After being told that we could order parts to modify our 2012 Blackline from a me bike to a we bike, we signed the papers. Come to find our Harley doesn't make accessories for the bike yet and may not make them. We are very disappointed in this bike and don't even want it anymore because of this. Can't get any straight answers from anybody. Shame on Harley
Iceman: What exactly do you want to do? Make it a comfy two up bike? If so, don't sweat it, cheer up! If H-D won't, the aftermarket will. And will do a better job, IMHO.
Let us know what you'd like to do to the bike, I'm sure you'll get all kinds of recommendations on how to spend your money!!
What parts are you saying that they wont make??? and if your talking about a seat..Danny Gray is coming out with 3 models during the winter... talked with Sherrie there... What part of Bama are you in??? in Birmingham myself... I wasnt waiting and am having a local guy make me a solo seat..and HD does make a pretty comfy looking 2up for the Blackline...

Yes we want to make it a comfy 2 up bike. And we can't use aftermarket because it would void the warranty. This is a 2012 and Harley doesn't make accessories for it believe me we've checked and checked and checked.
Who told you that you can't use aftermarket? Let me guess.....the dealer? That's a bunch of crap! You can use whatever you want. If you ever have a warranty issue, HD has to PROVE that your aftermarket accessories are the sole cause of the problem.

Whoever told you that needs to have their voicebox ripped from their throat. If someone at the HD dealer told you that, they're lying to you because they want you to buy HD parts and fund their dealership. The fact is, nothing voids your warranty unless it is the cause of a major problem..
example 1: Adding a Power Commander V
example 2: Power Commander V is responsible for the engine not getting enough fuel, or too much fuel, and causing severe damage inside the cylinder.
Example 1 does not void your warranty, example 2 does.
