I was all set to order a chrome low profile Fuel tank console for my 2011 Heritage, I see Harley only has them listed until 2010 model year.Anyone put one on a 2011? any other manufacturers out there . Thanks.

 

I've always liked the pro 1 covers and the joker covers.

 

I used this one on my 2010 deluxe. Part # 71202-03.

 

That tank console also looks good,but it looks like they are only listing it up to 2010, not 2011.I did notice today that the book says softail 00 and up ,but Harley online says up to 2010 model year.I will have to see someone that has actually done it on a 2011.

 

Okay this is important.. on the 2010's and below, the consoles have a button hole for the rubber button that controls the trip A/trip B/range/etc etc etc.. on the 2011's+ that button got moved to the top half of the horn button, hense, no hole on the console anymore..which is why they don't work on the 2011's (unless you take some body filler and cover that hole up).

 

Thanks Sgt Jim. If that is the only issue I probably will go for it ,I am sure I could put something in that hole to make it look factory. It is not the above console that I am interested in it is the low profile chrome cover. I have looked at pictures pretty good and am not sure where the reset switch is located on the low profile cover.
