Default pull back risers for a Heritage

My wife keeps telling me she wants to move the bars back towards her on her Heritage. Anybody have any suggestions on doing this and which risers or bars may work the best? Personally I'd like to leave it like it is but I guess being 7"s taller than her the reach dont bother me, I'd rather throw some 13' apes on it and call it done

Have you just pulled those back and let her try them sometimes a small distance is all it takes

You can get a set of Duce risers, they will be about 5 1/2" high and come back 2 to 3 inches.
I would stay away from any apes if she's uncomfortable with the bars now.
I have the mini apes on my Custom and tried to tip them back because I have a short reach. An accident damaged my right elbow and as a result I can't get that arm to go straight out. I found that apes could actually make her reach problem worse, because you can't tip them back far enough to work right for people with a reach problem.
When I tipped mine back more than a few inches it put the grip angle way out of whack. The last bend causes the grips to actually go straight out and slightly down if you go too far.
Then if you try to lean back any you cant hang on properly or it will force the riders wrists to a very uncomfortable angle.

Not sure how much the stealer wants for them but there is a set for a Duce listed on evil-bay that I was looking at for my bike.
You want them their yours, I'll leave them alone.

I have 4inch pullback risers with western bars on my Heritage and the riding position is perfect, allows me to sit right at the back of the seat and get some lumbar support

Tilt them back a little bit. If you look at my pic you will see that I did that to mine. I don't have short arms but a like leaning back a little when I ride.

BadX,

I have 2 1/2" risers that came with my bike. You may be able to rotate the bars for more comfort. Not sure how much pull back you can go before you need to add length to the wires.

Hi from the UK
BadX I have the same bike as your wife - love it! Being 5' 31/2" I found the bars too far & too low so I had the Delux Pullback Riser (page 325 p/n 56290-05) put on by the dealer I kept the stock bars which now suit me fine.

I've seen 1 1/2" offset (no rise) risers as well.
