Sounds nice, but you might want to rethink it. Ride Wright uses billet aluminum for the hub, but steel rims. Only aluminum can be anodized.
Mr. Lucky is always messing things up for me. Still hiding down in the OC Bob? We ahvfe discussed this at length he wants the look of anodized for the gold. Powdercoating si actually better regardless as it does not face like anodizing does. My spokes are candy red powdercoat and look like they are anodized. I have had numerous questions asking if they were anodized. So I figure a candy gold (if there is such a thing) over chroem will give it the same kind of look as mine but in....gold.
Mr. Lucky, you are missed up here. Come up here and ride with us. We did Angeles Crest today and I know it's one of your favorites.
Here is a kinda closeup of my spokes although you really can't see the sparkle in them in the photo. I avhe faith that they can get the perfect look for you rims too.

Ha, sorry Drew... I didn't know that back room discussions were being held. I'll make up for it now. For the OP wanting a candy gold look, if it turns out anything like Drew's red spokes, it will be killer!
Too much stuff going on here. I'll try to join you guys in a couple of weeks.
