Agreed. I just picked one up today from Cycle Visions and I can't wait to clear that fender off. They have them in black and chrome, lit and unlit, horizontal and vertical so you can be picky.

This one is Cycle Visions, it uses LEDs to light up the license plate. Mounted by replacing an axle spacer.
Blackline tail light, get rid of it!
