Folks, I'm building a softail chopper on a Kraft/Tech frame with a pair of stretched tanks. At this point I have no dash or dash panel.
So, I'm thinking of using a tasteful cover where the dash would be because I really have no use for a dash or gauges (other than maybe a fuel level gauge).
Does anyone make these? Would you go dash or no dash?
Not sure which dash mounting style your tank has, but this might work. Scroll down a few items and you'll see the "Washington Choppers "Fat Bob " Gas Tank Custom DASH COVER". It doesn't work with newer harley tanks, so I ended up having to make my own because I couldn't find any other options. http://washingtonchoppers.com/gastankpage.htm

Thx.
The frame is a Frame/Tech softail with all the tabs. The tanks are a stretched pair of tanks that mount to the standard frame tabs.
I do not think the tanks are newer. But being stretched the off-the-shelf cover might not be long enough.
