I have a 1990 Fxsts that i bought and the speedometer is not the original it has a speedo/tach combo in it. Problem is it reads 20mph faster than actual speed. is there a way to re calibrate this or do i have to find a different one?

 

The original speedo is a 2240:60 Ratio...more than likely it has been replaced with a more common 2:1 ratio...get the correct one and all will be good.

 

That'll make the miles roll up faster...

Of course the other side is during U next bar bragging talk,, she'll do 115 in a Quarter mile..
