Took forever, but......
Hey Guys,
I finally got my order from azece and although it took nearly a moth, due to my order getting misplaced, I finally got it yesterday.
I went ahead and ordered the K&N HD-0800 and put on the rain sock for piece of mind, dont know it it will help but its on there. lol
Now I just need to decide if I can live with the silver SE backing plate or if I need to get the black one. Uggg it seems like the mods are never done.

Looks sharp!
The sock does help with riding in rain as you can see the water bead off the fine mesh, but don't hold the garden hose on it too long (I soaked mine once by accident). I used to bag mine when washing, but now just avoid direct hose contact.
The silver backer doesn't look too bad on your FBL, but black would look better. With my chrome *****, the silver stuck out too much as there were no other silver on the bike (maybe the fork sliders). I debated painting it black until I got a chrome one at Meredith HD when I went to Laconia this year.
Maybe paint it black, cheap to do, as long as you do it right shouldn't chip. If there is a powdercoat shop nearby, see if it would be cheaper than the approx $60 dealer cost for the replacement.
