why hd changed to a new ecm on 2012 softies and dynas?heard 02 sensors are heated now also,just curious.delphi still on touring and sportys,heard new ecm is bosch,again just what ive heard.oh yeah the slipons on the heritage are smaller in diameter wonder if they moved the cats?

well the sensors are a different size..idk about heated.. but probably because of the 103" motor

An ECM on a motorcycle. That's just wrong
on so many levels.

yeah sgtjim heated,just like the touring models when they put the cats in the head pipes

They changed the o2 sensors from the old narrow band (2 wire) to the wide band sensors (4 wire heated) so the ECM could now make adjustments in a widder area of AFR other than 14.7 or stoic. Thats how it was explained to me. If my bike had the new wideband o2 sensors I could do a better job of tunning it.

it is in many ways, but you gotta love getting on the thing, hitting the switch and going. If I had a nickel for everytime I forgot to push that damn choke (enrichment) **** the rest of the way in, I could have paid for the extra spark plugs I used to buy. I don't miss carbs at all.

thanx for the explanation soft 02,makes sense.any idea on the new ecm on dynas and softies?new heritage pipes supposivedly narrower also.have a good one
