Apparently the bigger question is why did you go in debt for a damn Sportster if you're raising a family on minimum finances?

I paid 6400.00 for this 96 a yaear and a half ago. The market has really softened for BB's and springers in general. Mine had more miles than yours with some cosmetic touch up needed.Changed the fluids and been going ever since. I'd offer them no more than 7k if it needs any work at all.G.

As it is today.

This is a real BB painted orange that sold here a couple of months ago for 6200.00 with 21k on it.

Ok, I definitely understand how some of you feel on this bike but some of you are making comments when you don't know anything about me or my situation. I bought my Nightster it was my first bike. I went overseas in 2010 and paid off my bike and also had a ton of work done on it! Even if I wanted to I couldn't get anywhere near what I have into it and yes that was my choice. I have no intentions of selling that bike no matter what! I currently am working for the Vermont National Guard full time till the end of the month but my orders end after that. Everything I have including my home is paid for but I'm just thinking rationally and don't want to go overboard here! Overall I'm going to try and go for it but if I don't get my right deal I'm not going to buy it.

I went overseas and had a fiancee. We had a kid when I got home but our relationship went south while I was gone. Oh and that damn sportster you mention will put a whoopin on a lot of the bikes out there!

Good luck getting the Bad Boy. But cutting it up just for a 180 tire would be a shame though...
