Welcome to the forums. That's a great looking ride you got there. I like that paint job too. Hope you'll stick around and share some more pics and stories about riding.
Thanks for the kind words. Started as a black cherry pearl NT like yours. Current mods are V&H Straight Shots HS, SE Stage 1 Air Cleaner, Ness Forward Controls and the carb is jetted. Plan on doing some other upgrades down the road...95", possible wide tire, some new carlini bars.
Here are a few more pics. Would love to meet some locals to ride with.
Do not buy one of these, it will cost you a shed load of cash in add ons, and you may find yourself going for rides instead of doing those little jobs around the house. And while riding you may find yourself grinning like some kind of deranged idiot, (which does little for your image).
Hey Bill, what bars are those on your bike? Thanks, Brian
Brian
They are WildOne 501 Chubby Bars.
I was getting a little neck ache and back ache on rides of more than an hour. Someone suggested these and they have cured my problem. They just moved the controls back about 2", which was enough for me.
If you go to their site there is loads of info and pics of various bars on various bikes.
BTW TripleX - You're probably only 90 minutes from me...I'm in Beacon NY - across the river and a bit north of you. Once I get a new scooter we should definitely get together for some rides. DEFINITELY next season...
I can't pass up riding with a fellow Slayer fan...
