Default Faboy owners.. need help

posted this earlier but not much reply (thanks to those who did)
https://www.hdforums.com/m_986490/tm.htm

was wondering if the fatboy owners could tell me how the rear fender alignment looks on their bikes?

is it significantly off set (closer to tire) on the belt side?

I don't know if this is any help to you, but the rear tire on my '07 Fat Boy is centered in relationship to the fender.

Shave the caliper, longer spacer on the pulley side, and center it.

Fatboys have had wandering rear tire centering [design] issues throughout the model years.

Now for 2007, HD has decided to start playing with the front tire centering, it is all out of whack.

"All out of whack" is a bit of an overstatement. I doubt even 1 in 100 people would ever notice the offset on their own and, more importantly, it has no noticeable effect on the handling of the bike. For me, it's a "non-issue."

No disrespect intended to your choice, don't take it personal.
There is no one alive that is more pro Fatboy than I am.
I'm one of those 1 in 100, it would be totally unacceptable for my standards.
It is a blaring engineering faux paux however you want to dress it up.

My 2005 Fat Boy SE rear tire/wheel is also offset to the belt side. Doesn't bother me.
