Vance and Hines are good. Python is basically the same pipe (made by V&H), but not as expensive. Slip-ons like V&H, Rush and KromeWerks are also good. No remap is needed if all you do is exhaust. If you make a change to the air intake, the least expensive is the V&H FuelPak along with XIEDs. Power Commander by FuelMoto is also good.

Depends on what you want to accomplish...

Have had my Rush SO's with 2'' baff, going on 5yrs and still love them.

Cheapest way to change ECM is the HD Download.

I've heard other people say this. Is this concensus, that if you add pipes alone without any air intake upgrades you do not have to remap or flash?

Samson True Duals, 28.5's, no baffles. Get them from Dr V Twin.

I get compliments all the time on how my bike sounds.....and a quick blip under a bridge is very satisfying.
