Default Dumb question

Are the upper fork sliders (beer cans) interchangable between softail and touring models? Thanks!

That is not a dumb question...

That is actually a well thought out, and well phrased question.

Please feel free the post an actual dumb question later.

According to HD the answer is no; according to the real world the answer is yes. I have flame everything on my Fatboy and the flame beer cans are only made for touring models. I sat them side by side and they are about an eighth of an inch difference in length so I bought and installed them. Been running them a few thousand miles so from my experience YES they are interchangable.
