Default Quick-shifter

Fitted a dynojet quick-shifter to my fatty yesterday. Once revs over 4,000 rpm and I can upshift seamlessly with no clutch. Seriously fantastic match to the new engine work, winds up so quick and now no slow/clunky gear changes (75 milliseconds) or as fast as i can shift my boot). Under 4,000 just shift as normal. Will have to see if that rev setting is right with some more day to day riding but was OK yesterday.

I put a "WhisperShift Kit" on my 1995 FLSTC about 5 years ago.
I can hold it at 4,000 and go thru the gears like a hot knife thru butter.
When I shift it just goes "SNICK" no clunk anymore. Best investment,
I ever made. Shifts just like a Jap Bike.

I don't want my bike to be anything like a Jap bike.

Sounds good, you're right, no clunk. Apparently this thing has launch control - haven't work out how to use it yet!

I might look into one in the future, I had one on my speed triple, that thing would go through the gears on.the back wheel without the front even dipping
