Default 1991 springer

Hello,

I have owned 2 touring bikes, sold the last one 2 years ago. I started looking recently, specifically at 1991 Springer Softails. Can you please tell me how these bikes handle? I don't ride hard , or fast. Thanks!

My wife had an 06.

I liked the way it handled. She felt the front end felt heavy in turns and/or low speed turns. Compare to my '04 Duece that I had, I think it was a little stiffer in the front, but not bad.

Would I buy another one? If I had the cash for a second bike, it woulld probably be a springer!

I have an 05 Springer and this is my first Harley. My last bike was 25 years ago so I can't compare the two in regards to handling. I really like the looks of the chrome springs on the front and I don't have any problems with the handleing. I also think that the handling of any bike would depend on the ability of the rider. For me, it feels smooth and it has the desired look that I was after. Good luck

I love the Springers! Either the Standards or the Classics. Can't go wrong in my opinion.

I've got a '93 Springer Softail. I bought it used last spring, and love it so far. I'm still in the process of customizing it how I want, but I don't think you can go wrong with the springer...
