It seems that thread is to give out the codes and how to get them, which I have. Now I need the procedure that the electronic diagnostic manual lists which is 5.11. I guess that would be the "trouble shooting part"?
Got the 2009 Electrical manual, but no reference to the 5.11 procedure ... Who mentioned that one to you? Only thing I can think of is that it refers to the chapter in the manual, however in my manual, the B1121 etc. codes (all relating to turn signals) are Chapter 3.15, no Chapter 5.11 in my manual.
According to my manual:
B1121 = Left turn signal open
B1122 = Right turn signal open
B1123 = Left turn signal short-to-ground
They have about 10 pages with flow charts and diagrams on how to trace and pinpoint the problem and you will need the breakout box to do the tests they describe.
Thanks for the help. I seen the ref to 5.11 in another form via a goggle search. After shooting the wires last night I think my problem lies in the run turn brake module and/or the load equalizers. All kury stuff. I may have over heated recently when I moved the bike with out the fob nearby and the security system was blinking and I ran back into the house top grab the fob...got back and there was smoke coming from under the seat. But everything worked fine for about a month. Since then all kind of codes tripping and on start up with pcIII connected only one cylinder will fire off. I bypass the pc and bike
runs fine. So I am chasing one thing at a time....
