I have to go with Rich on this one, I like #1 also. #2 is what you would expect to see and what most everyone would choose, but since it is a 1 off springer go against the grain with a light thats different.

Thanks man. It's definitely been a stressful time getting this thing finished. It was supposed to be done in April as my coming home present to myself from Afghanistan but......that didn't work out. Hope to have it finished this week so I can get some miles on it before putting it up for the winter and making even more changes. I think I'll end up having more money in my bike than my house eventually haha
I understand the money pit that these bikes can be lol. It has to suck to put that much work into a bike and then have to store it and look at it as it tempts you all winter but you will have it ready for you when it warms up. I am sure you will tweek it for a while but I love the direction you're going and cant wait to see it come together.

Just a thought, maybe two of the first lights mounted one above the other and offset with the rake of the forks would look good! Otherwise I would go with #2. I had #1 for a while and it really wasn't proportionate to the rest of the bike and didn't cast as much light on the road.
