Vulcan makes a neck rake kit that will knock the CB and Heritage fork out a couple degrees to match the FX style bikes. It handles well.

Default My version of crossbones vs springer

They are both soft tails we know this one back on the fat boy Frame and sent up where the springer is a soft tail custom the crossbones has a tucked in front in as of like a haritage frame or fat boy blacked out with a bob look where the soft tail spring hast the soft tail costoms long slinger frame the standard soft tails rockin a 88 twin cam 1340cc and they did make a cvo now the cross bones is more of a cruse feel to it with a whopping 96 ci 1500cc you see where I’m getting this the fat boys standard trim came with the 96 ci just like the fat on dyna and fat boy where the springer was just and animal of a 88ci twin cam same as most soft tail customs standards night train soft tail Duce if you can figure out how to tell what the letters are in the name of a bike it tells you by letters like the sportsters are xl1200c . Or most road glides an street glide are flh frames dynas are fx and fxstd for example would be a solttail duce fxstc is a solftail custome nighttrain would have a n at the end and Duce would have the dyna oh the performance baggers lol they are fxd and that’s frame and motor setup and wheel back of the front ends and **** an fxdl would be a dyna low rider fxd is super glide it would be wrote out such( depending on year but will start with ) FXDSG dyna super glide or FXDWG dyna wide glide and so on flh is gunna be you heavier bodied chassis and there is a FLD witch is a dyna also but they did a cross ove called a switch back it was essentially a smaller displacment on a dyna frame the resembled a hariage with I road a 2012 and they weigh as much as a streets glide even with a 92 ci 1400 cc a whopping 700 an some at lease but that all imm ramble on about but you can I identify a bike by the first few letter and trim level and gues engine displacment or identify the frame just by the way to rear shocks are and useually figure out trim Bacar and flashiness now a bike that’s been loved and taken care of those trim levels tend to change but the manufactured letters is where that bike started out it’s life as thanks for reading the book beleave it of not I tried to shorten it yet explain but I’m hitting send if it’s not spelled right cause I don’t wanna read through it lol

Well, I agree with you, neither did I....

I tried to read your rambling prose, that has no punctuation, but gave up...

Then I just happened to notice your comment at the end... which I totally understand...

If I had seen it was tacked onto a 12 year old thread, I wouldn't have even opened it.... but I saw "Springer" in the title and missed the date of origin... I like Springers..

Well, I'm here now so welcome to the forum (I think)......

I've thought about going with a -2 under springer for my night train but I doubt I'll ever do it.

Welcome to the forums Mp. I tried to keep up with you but I think you went to school with Kamala or wrote her essays. Just kidding brother but go back and check some of your facts, quite a bit of mis information. Sit down for a day or two and read hattitudes posts on anything Harley. He’s pretty much up on most everything. Again welcome to the boards.
