Default New Triple Trees

I have been thinking about moving the signals on my Rocker to my fork tubes, but recently came across some triple trees that have the signals built in. I love the clean look of this option. Does anyone have this style of triple tree, and what are their thoughts? Also, how hard is it to switch out triple trees?

Not hard to change out but you got to make sure the ones you order are the same rake and width. Btw love the clean look.

I actually haven't found any for a 49mm fork yet, just 41mm, so that may be the deciding factor.

Swapping my trees out this winter. From what I've been told, pretty easy to do (assuming you've got a basic mechanical knowledge). You'll want to change the bearings and races also while you've got it apart, and to install the new bottom race with the hidden stop. I picked up the tools for removing and pressing in the races on E-bay for under $100. Like was said above, you'll also want to be sure the rake angle is the same as stock. Most softails are 0*, but a couple (Night Train included) have 2* raked factory trees. Do a search on here, there is a wealth of info.

I like the look, but do they act as turn signals and running lights? If the answer is yes, I might be in trouble with my better half again...

UT, Rich has some new Rocker trees with different rakes in wide glide or mid glide specifically for the Rocker. www.bitchinseats.com

i am likely going with wide glide for mine, not sure what rake yet.

They will act as both. Just cut the wires going to current signals and wire to new lights in trees. I actually found some on eBay that are 1/2 the price of the Pro Ones on Cruiser Customizing, and I like a lot better too. My problem for me is they too are only available in a 41mm.

Being techically compliant, versus being safe are often two different things. Do you really think that somebody approaching you on a sunny day is going to know that you are getting ready to turn in front of them? Don't ruin someone else's life, as well as your own.
