Is this dash aluminum or steel? I was also thinking about getting the "magnetic boom pouch" for my gps and am wondering if it would stick along the lower part. I don't like the idea of sticking it to my black tank at all.
I just picked this up at the dealer.............they call it a Low Profile Fuel Tank Console and it is plug and play. Take out the speedo/harness and stick it in the new console. Not too difficult......I think it looks great.
I always wanted the dash from Jim Nasi that moved the speedometer farther forward and lower to the tank. Was part of his Softail transformation line that no longer exists.
I think that is originaly off the cvo fatboy with the rear seat "nacelle" thing heres mine in black. and the low profile originaly came on the cvo springer and hers that also in black
