My fiancee has a Crossbones and wants saddlebags. I am having a hard time locating exactly what he wants, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
He wants the kind like in the old westerns that are flat when empty but can expand enough to hold leather coat or chaps. Looking for black leather.
Anybody??

I have brackets and hard bags that came off an '08 Bones that I would sell????

 

Those would be FLSTI (springer bags)200-2003 they are not cheap $650.00 or more go to nerest harley dealer parts guy ask them to look it up and all parts to mount them with get all part numbers Do NOT BUY FROM THEM get them on-line from a discount dealer or buy from flea bay save about half

 

Think these two words..... Horse Tack. Type Horse Tack saddlebags into the ebay search engine and you will find a ton for under 100 bucks. You need to also buy universal saddlebag brackets for throw over saddlebags and that will cost another 50 bucks. But if he wants old western bags, he has to think like an old western buyer, not like a guy with a Harley.

harley makes bags specifically for the crossbones i have a set..not to big but enough space for jackets etc.with the stock exhaust they are the only bags that really fit straight out of the box no mods required..
