If you want to save some cash on a good full system, check out the Rush crossover system. Half the cost of V&H and their customer support is truly second to none. You will get a full system for the price of some slip on's. I bought mine for less then $300 then had the heatshields ceramic coated Black. And the tips are a matt chrome color to match the bike.
The Rush cross-over system is our best performing system that is not a true 2:1. We used my brother-in-law's dyna for testing and I was able to ride it stock, with 2.00" baffle slip-ons, with our cross-over system and no tune, then after a FuelPak install. Each step there was an increase in power that you could feel in the seat. These steps and their performance gains should generally apply to any similar aftermarket exhaust.

there is no better looking exhaust than the big-shot staggered in black, or really any VH in black will do. i got the big shot staggered in black, screamin eagle stage one air cleaner, and vance and hines fuel pak. sure it costs a little more, but this setup is MEAN sounding and performing for the relatively small ammt you pay for it.
The Chrome version is also nice but you have to like Chrome

the chrome does look good, but my bike already has so much black on it, the black ones would be cheaper for me....would cost too much to make everything chrome.
i just bought the vance an hines big shot staggered, a buddy had the black on his 2010 fat boy low. Great sound and looks good too i have 08 softail delux.
