I have to say I was very surprised how well the bike handles, I wasn't expecting it to be nimble at all but to my surpise once she was rolling down the rode all that wieght dissapeared.
A few mods to do before spring:
-Move the license plate down to the bottom of the fender.
-Get a bib and remove the rear seat / rack
-Vance and Hines Big Radius 2 into 2 exhaust, once broke in. Does anyone know if these come with removal baffles and if they do how do they sound if taken out?
-RSD Air Cleaner and cover
-Power Commander 5 or Vance and Hines Fuel Pack..i'm still undecided.
These should keep me saving for a while lol
Nice scooter. Everyone loves a Luxe. It's a riot. We spend all that money on these things and then we take them apart and rebuild them (spend more). You have to make it yours though...
V&H BR 2-2, They are pretty loud even with the baffles in and you'll get good low end torque.
V&H FuelPak is ok if you're not modifying the engine. If you have plans to do some engine tweaks you'll want to consider a more flexible tuner.
-Move the license plate down to the bottom of the fender.
Some how I missed your post. Again congrats! I just installed the softbrake.com plate relocator with the new tail light housing and it was the best $130 I've spent so far. Really cleans up the back of the bike. It was a PITA installing, but it's do able without removing the rear fender like it says in the service manual. lol
