Default Will power to delay mods???

I pulled the trigger on a 2012 Softail Deluxe and got a really good deal. I got $1665 off sticker on an ABS/Security model and a $6000 trade on a 2007 Sporty I paid $5500 for in May.
Now the question is how long can I wait before starting to do mods. How long did you wait when purchasing your bike before you did you first mod?

I bought an engine guard and smoked turn signal lens kit when I bought the bike. So technically I waited an hour and a half or so since that's how long it took to get the bike home and unloaded.

I wanted a fatboy with VnH BRs 2-2s. I bought mine preowned with em already so I guess you could say I started right away. Hahaha. Then I got her home, went on eBay, and started ordering all kinds of (stuff)

Yep, 2K worth and another 3K the day I picked it up.

I had waited from July 2007 until May of 2008 for a bike I had a deposit on the entire time to be delivered.
So I kind of knew what I wanted...

What dealer did you buy it at? I've been thinking of adding a Street Glide to my stable, but my local dealers all want MSRP plus for all the new bikes. I see your in Texas. I'm in Louisiana and always up for a road trip.

I waited just long enough to ride it home. That night was spent on the internet ordering all kinds of "crap"!
