The horn is from a 2004 Sportster, sound is O.K., but main reason of relocating was for having a cleaner look of the bike.

Just curious if anyone has relocated their coil to the horn location with the outputs pointed vertical and then adapted an aftermarket horn cover to hide the coil?

The reason I ask is that it seems like there is a much larger selection of horn covers than coil covers.

wolo under the stock cowbell, ya gotta separate the horn from the compressor,, it's pretty easy to do, just get creative & make it work,,, use a relay & it's louder than ***

Very nice. Did you locate the compressor above the voltage regulator? Little hard to tell from the picture.

That's pretty much the look I'm after. I have a few questions:

When you relocated the coil, did you buy a relo kit (i.e. DK Custom) or did you fabricate something yourself?

What type of ends did you use on the plug wires (i.e. straight on the coil end and 90° on the plug end)?

Did you consider locating the coil so the wires came out the top instead of the bottom (not sure which I like best)?

Did your bike have the fake seat post and if so did you remove it when you relocated the coil?

Thanks.

NorCalDog, does that horn cover ever hit the back of your fender?

1. Made it myself,
2. Not straight 45 degree & 90 degree into the coil
3. Nope
4. Left it there, it holds my reg. label
