im looking to get a set of cam... bike only has pipes, power commander and screaming eagle breather... im looking to get to 100 real fast... i would also like it to have a good sound... prob needs to be mid to high range im guessing... heard a lot about the woods 555???
I will also be in the same situation. I am going to get a 2012 fatboy by the end of January. I am going to put on big radius and SE heavy breather. With a dyno jet power vision. I am trying to look into getting cams sometime soon but this being my first time wrenching on a Harley I just don't know that much. Need some help from you guys. Lol I have also heard about woods 777's
Not familiar with Woods...but this summer I got the 255se and absolutly love them for 0 to 100. Plus I got an old mechanic that did a hell of a job redoing the heads and dyno. I love the Gforce!

Just be sure to ask the sales people about warranty issues with any upgrades you perform. Then verify that what they tell you is written down on paper somwhere.
He wants his bike to be fast from 0 to 100ish. He a buddy of mine and he's thinking about cams breather and a tune over the winter. I think he may do some head work down the road. His bike is a freak though its much stronger than any other softail I've rode with the same mods. Whoever installed the power commander must have hit the nail on the head with its map. I've been telling him about the 555s but I haven't heard about the 777s. Nice dyno results look as if those Andrews cams is a nice choice also.

Reason: forgot somthing
Speaking from experience I think he should have the cams and heads done at the same time. I did a SE pro stage 3 first and yes it made alot of difference but I didn't get the full potential out of the money I spent. I think it is better to consult with the person doing the head work about what cams you choose and optimizing the performance and maximizing the return on your money by doing both at the same time. You also save labor money be because the engine is only torn down once unless you're doing the work yourself. Just my 2 cents. I'm having my heads done this winter FYI.

Makes sense but I don't want him to be as fast as me j/k.... and Congrats on the head work I'm sure you will be happy!
