Question Question about Pipes.

Hey All!

Just a quick few questions and maybe a suggestion or two..

Due to a lay down I had in the summer (which I never got a reply from in my previous posts anyhow lol), i'm looking for replacements to my pipes. The tips themselves are ground inward on the tops of the actual ends.. Not very noticeable, but it goes against the beauty I know the bike holds.

So if someone can look at my pictures and tell me how to measure the actual lengths of pipes that'd be fantastic. From scouring the net, I know they are "slash cut" types.. and I know they are "Runner Roads" (an older pipe manufacturer that named them that to get around law suits im told?) but I cannot find anything of the sort. So I'm looking for a loud set of pipes, deep and powerful. Hard to explain exactly, but when I say a "true harley davidson", I hope you all understand! What would be brands (websites would be an added plus) that sell pipes that look like these... The Long-staggered sideways cut pipe?

Thanks all

*Not looking for slip ons, just complete pipe setups from header to tip*

Welcome to the forum and happy hunting.

And to measure, get a fabric tape (like tailors use) and run it the length of the pipe from header to outlet - length. Diameter is self-explanitory. Bam.

Didn't see any of the pictures you posted. Here's what I'm currently running on my bike:

Vance and Hines Big Shot Staggered. I like them a lot but I'm getting ready to go to a true 2-to-1. Part of the baffle has been cut out. They have a really nice sound. If you'd be interested I'll give you a hell of a deal. They have less than 1500 miles on them.

Sorry, read your post again and saw "sideways" slash. Mine wouldn't be what you're looking for. Disregard.

I think you can get tips that can be rotated for V&H BSS.
