Default V&H

I just put on a set of V&H Shortshot Staggered on Blackline. As stated before it's about personal preference. Do what makes you happy.

Allways a tough choice man I've had all different kinds on different bikes, it's all about what yer lookin for sound, performance, and of course looks.
I would say find the one that matches the look you want and find a sound bite to see if ya like the sound of'em.

I'm runnin V&H on one and Samson street sweepers on the other now, love the way they both look and sound on each.
If i had to choose one for a standard i'd go with the street sweepers.

Just sayin
Good luck wid it.

This is what his bike looks like as of now. Big *** ape hangers, but otherwise stock. He is planning on lowering the rear end along with a few other mods. I know he is looking at vance and hines but i was wondering if anyone had something a little different that aren't 2 into 1s.

I would go with some kind of slip-ons (I think Python sounds best) but I would keep the staggered dual format--that gives you the most "Harley-ish" sound. When the pipe ends are close together, like the V&H, you don't get that "separation" of sound which gives it the traditional "potato" lope. Pipe openings need to be a foot or more apart to get that "Harley" sound.
