Default Adding turn signals to use as run/brake light

Okay, here's what I'm trying to do and I'm hoping someone can help me out a little. I want to add some extra run/brake lighting so I bought a turn signal relocation bracket that mounts to the license plate and a pair of stock rear turn signals. I would like to add them so that they operate as run/brake lights. My thought was to wire them into the tail light wiring, but I wanted to make sure that makes sense and will work. I am in the UK and have removed my HD run/brake module because the turn signals must be amber. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is also posted in the DIY electrical/lighting section.

you have dual element housing or single element? with dual its easy. single it can still be done, just a little wiring trick to make it work.

It's the stock turn signal which is dual element. I got an answer in the electrical area, however my thread was deleted from there. I noted that I posted it in two areas, but you would think this thread would have been deleted not the one in the electrical/lighting area. Good thing I read it before it was deleted.

I appreciate the response.

What year and model is your scooter? If you have 2011 or 2012 Softail you don't need a Brake/Turn signal module, just go to the dealer and ask him to switch your BCM to Stop/Turn functionality. It takes 5 minutes, just plug in the service laptop and your done.

If your vehicle is older then you need Brake/Turn converter module, the P&A sells those, they plug in the rear lighting harness.
