Since your in California like me... I would advise to keep them.

There may be a day you will need to put them back on to pass inspection.. smog...

If not... after about 10 years or so they will have some ebay value

Well I won't need them to smog the Heritage, I sold it a few months back. I'll double check ebay, but last I looked they just aren't moving.

Try putting them on Craigslist, i.e. try to sell locally. They aren't worth that much and any shipping charge would make them too expensive. I recently bought some new take-offs for $25 off Craigslist.

Thanks for the tip, I forgot about my stock Deuce/Fatboy pipes that wouldn't sell on Craigslist. I'll try again for $25.

Well for $25, I'll just keep them and cut them up into parts.
Thanks for the info.

I threw my stock take-offs on eBay, and they sold for $400, so I guess it's hit or miss. If you can find out if they fit any other models (which they should) it'll open up your potential buyership. For $400 vs. $25, I would give it a shot.

Apparently your buyer never used the search function on eBay. That's unheard of and hundreds above market price, but congratulations!
