Im going to be putting a 21" wheel on the front of my deluxe soon. Probably a Mammoth 52. I know from reading that most of you guys are running either a Vee Rubber or a Metzler tire. Which one has the wider WW? Any performance, endurance differences between the 2?
Hey there Drew, the damn snow here delayed my baggertail delivery until today. As luck would have it, im off work today because its zero degrees outside. Looks like a space heater in the garage and maybe get the baggertail on today. Sadly, my extended hard bags are still at the paint shop in Florida. Driving me crazy waiting for them. I just read the thread from earlier this year that you were contemplating hard bags for your sled. With any luck, I'll have some pictures for you in a week or so. Just wanted to add, I appreciate the way you guys do business, not charging my card until you ship your product. The guy Im getting the bags from, already has charged me in full for bags, paint, and hardware at the tune of $1665. Not a huge thing in the big picture, but its not the right way to do business in my opinion. You guys rock and I look forward to doing more business as soon as I get my boat sold. I should clear $10k on it and most of that will most likely go into my sled. Thanks again for your professionalism and merry christmas to you and yours
Immlooking at doing the same, but getting a Metz 120/21 made from db tires
Heard a few bad things about vee rubber from multiple people.
Not much tread life
Brown walls not white
Uneven brown walls
Thats good info Kozy. I seem to remember reading some bad feedback about the VeeRubber tire as well. Who do you need to talk to about getting a Metz made up? How much $$$ etc...

Talk to Tab at DB tires. You can pm him from this site
Cant speak for the Vee, although the search button is your friend on that one, but I can speak for the metzeler 120/70/21 Whitewall from DB,
Absolutely fantastic!, Better than the standard WW metzeler that I bought for the rear, really smooth white and easier to clean too. No brainer.
