Trying to get the clutch cable off of the clutch release cover for powder coating and snapped it off in the cover. Is there any reason you'd have to heat the cover to get the cable out? Looks like I'll be buying a cable and cover...

Did u take out all the tension on the cable before trying to remove it?

Yeah, all the tension was off the cable. I tried to get the threaded section off once I cut the cable with an easy out and It wouldn't budge.

Tap a flat blade screwdriver, or a torx bit that fits tight into it. It'll come right out. Done that twice.

I tried the easy out and it wouldnt budge...thinking it was cross threaded from the factory. It snapped immediately...
