I use a wet towel to soak the debris and then wipe with a soft diaper. Also wipe in an up and down motion as opposed to left and right. That way, if there is any chance of something scratching you won't have the distraction of the glare in your field of view and it won't be as noticeable.

I can only say try the "Novus" "Plastic clean and shine"! Out on a road trip, tons of bugs from the day before, spray it on, wait 15 seconds....
wipe it clean with a micro-fiber cloth, then dry with another, it's done and you are on the road!

It kills me how everyone looks for something "just as good". Why not try something that was developed for the
specific purpopse.
I hear that you can make high-test fuel from corn too! LOL!!!!
Six dollar bottle, and it has lasted 2 seasons!

I keep a spray bottle of Novus in my bag for the road but only because it's more convenient than a big bottle of pledge.
Pledge is far superior in cleaning and keeping dirt off.

I like to soak a soft towel in warm water...removes everything scratch-free! Pledge is great too, but I always seem to be out of it....dusty house!

No matter what you use water, pledge or whatever, Stick with the micro fiber cloth, it will not scratch.
