I use a wet towel to soak the debris and then wipe with a soft diaper. Also wipe in an up and down motion as opposed to left and right. That way, if there is any chance of something scratching you won't have the distraction of the glare in your field of view and it won't be as noticeable.

wipe it clean with a micro-fiber cloth, then dry with another, it's done and you are on the road!
