The thing that says "Ignition, Accessories, Off"..not the leather panels or all that jazz..
I've got like 8 part numbers for them..
71329-05
71305-01
71307-94
70432-06
71302-93A
..and a few more..
Anyways, I'm looking for a simple, black plate for a 2010 FatBoy Lo.. none of them really have any pictures of the plates themselves, so was wondering if anyone knew the number for one..
I know Harley has the Vivid Black Personal Accessories Package thing..but I'm not really in the mood for paying $75 for a small piece of tin..

The only thing I remember is that I went with another stock vivid black one after getting the console powder coated black. Maybe we are not on the same page, but I think I ended up with 71337-05 which is MSRP $74.95.
I hope you can find one. Mine is toast. Doest even have black paint on it anymore. No way am I putting one of those plastic sticky ones on. I want a stock one. Good luck!
I had my stepson give me a piece of silver vinyl wrap (he does vehicle wraps). I then used an Exacto knife to cut it. I put it right on the stock insert. You can't tell that it's not real chrome. Who cares if the letters aren't there, I know what position is ignition, which is accy, and which is off.
You could probably pick up a piece for $5, if a shop even charged you for a scrap piece. (or, go dumpster diving behind a tint shop)
He tried to convince me to use a carbon fiber look, but I didn't think it followed the theme of my bike.

yeah, i need something simple and black though..aside from the license plate frame, oil lines, and ignition switch, there's about no chrome on my bike

Mine was the high dollar one that went around the speedometer as well, just not the smaller piece like in your link. I'd have a hell of a time finding the receipt, but if I remember correctly, it does seem like it was close to $75. I wanted it to look right and still not look cheap.
If you only want that bottom piece, I'd go with that $3 one as well. You are probably saving a lot of money simply because it doesn't have the Harley Logo on the $3 model and doesn't come with the part that wraps around the speedometer.
okay cool, so you got the "Personal Accents Console Insert" thing..yeah about $75. $3 one it is! Too bad I can't find anything else on J&P i want to order, because I hate seeing just a $3 charge on my card statement...mmm..... mirrors maybe..
